Add the Mojeeb chat widget to your website in minutes. Your visitors chat with your AI agent from any page, and every conversation shows up in your Mojeeb dashboard.
How do I get the widget code?
- Open Connect in the sidebar.
- Find Website and click Connect +.
- Choose Ready Made Widget for Mojeeb's floating chat button, or Customized Integration to open the chat from your own button.
- Click Copy to copy the widget code.
How do I add it to my website?
Paste the code just before the closing </body> tag of every page that should have the chat, once per page. Copy it from your dashboard, or have your developer fetch it through the API: it carries your widget's id, so code copied from another site won't connect to your agent.
With Ready Made Widget, the chat button appears in a bottom corner of your site. With Customized Integration, nothing appears until your page opens the chat; your developer can follow Website Widget in the developer docs to connect it to your own button.
Not the one who edits your site? Click Share Link to send your web developer a page with your widget's code and the installation steps. The link expires after a while and can stop working sooner; if it does, create a new one.
Can I customize the widget?
Yes. Click Edit on the Website row to change:
- Primary Color: the colour of the chat button and the chat's accents.
- Initial Message: an opening message shown for a few seconds in a bubble beside the chat button. A visitor who taps the bubble sees it as the chat's first line; opening the chat with the button itself shows no opening line.
Your site shows the change the next time a page loads; you don't need to paste the code again.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes, in mobile browsers. The widget is fully responsive and works in the browser on every device: desktop, tablet and phone. Visitors who open your website on a phone get the same chat, sized for a small screen and ready for touch.
Can I add the chat to my mobile app?
Yes. Your app's developer can show the same chat inside your own iOS or Android app, with your widget's id and no API key. App chats are answered by the same agent and arrive in Chats like website chats. The developer docs explain how, with code to copy: see Add the Chat to Your Mobile App.
Common questions
Will it slow down my website?
No. The code goes at the end of the page, and the widget loads its settings and chat window in the background, so your content shows first.
Can I use it on multiple websites?
Yes. Each agent has one widget: paste the same code on every site where you want the chat, and all their conversations go to that agent.
How do I see conversations from the widget?
All widget conversations appear in the Chats section of your Mojeeb dashboard in real-time.
Can my developer add the widget without the dashboard?
Yes. The Public API returns the agent's widget code, so a site builder or deploy script can install it; see Website Widget.
